When I make revisions, I copy and paste whatever I’m about to cut or change and save it as a file labeled ‘Scraps’ so I can access it later if I want to. I’ve always liked to write an entire manuscript in one file. Whether you have sources to cite or not, it’s easy to format your book to look like a real manuscript on Word.
